Do you know if Merrick Bank pulls your credit report in order to approve you for the secured card? I just applied with Capital One and was declined due to “missing/invalid” credit score and “insufficient/unknown credit history” pulled from TransUnion. I don’t understand how you get declined for a secured card when you are funding your credit limit via a security deposit. I’m just trying to establish good credit history.
